Bank of America 500 Week ~ Exclusive Race Shop Tour

 On Friday, October 10th, Lowe's Motor Speedway will be offering an exclusive tour of two of the top teams in NASCAR. Fans can tour both Hendrick Motorsports and Roush Fenway Racing for only $5. Those interested must sign up for the tour ahead of time, and there are a limited number of spaces on the tour, so reserve your spot now!

Guests who have signed up for the tour are asked to arrive at Gate 4 at no later than 8:30 a.m. Free parking is located on Bruton Smith Boulevard at Entrance T. The tour vans will begin loading and proceed to the first stop - Hendrick Motorsports.

• From 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. guests will be able to tour the No. 24 DuPont, No. 48 Lowe's, No. 88, and No. 5 race shops. A discount will be offered to those who would like to purchase merchandise from their gift shop.
• At 10:30 a.m. the tour vans will begin loading and depart for Roush Fenway Racing. Once there, fans may tour the museum and visit their 100 seat theatre to view some of Roush Fenway Racing's greatest moments. As at Hendrick, fans who wish to purchase merchandise will receive a discount at the gift shop. Vendors will also be available at Roush Fenway Racing to provide lunch for anyone who would like to purchase it.
• The tour will conclude at 12:30 p.m. and fans should arrive back at the Speedway by 1:00pm. Gates open for the Dollar General 300 at 2:30 p.m.
• The price of this tour is only $5 if you have a ticket to the Bank of America 500, or $10 if you do not have a ticket. You can purchase these by calling the LMS Ticket Services Department at 800-455-FANS.

With dozens of NASCAR race shops in the region, Lowe's Motor Speedway is truly at the heart of stock car country, and there is no better way to take the pulse than with a tour of the speedway most drivers call home.

Feel The Thrill Tour includes a close-up look at areas that are off-limits on race days. Visit the Sprint Cup garage, travel down pit road and take a picture in Victory Circle. The highlight of this half-hour tour is a comfortable van ride around the superspeedway where you will feel the full-tilt force of the 24-degree banking. Feel The Thrill Tours are available on non-event days Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
